I believe we can be part of cultural repair when we are connected with ourselves, our gifts and our purpose. I can’t wait to learn about yours.

about me

People are fascinating and beautiful and my gift is to see and love what I find. Coaching is my way of sharing this.

While growing up, I developed some powerful habits around suppressing my own needs. Sensing it would be safer to make things easier for others, I didn’t learn or practice the skills of getting to know myself. Now I also know that these family patterns are part of a wider culture where we have to strive to meet our needs.

Through overseas moves and rich cross-cultural experiences, I got to learn about the diversity of people’s experiences which fed an innate curiosity and love for people and their stories.

Moving into adulthood,  I often made decisions based on what seemed like a good idea. I got a PhD and pursued a research career in the social sciences. I loved working with people to understand their life experiences which meant I could tap into my love and curiosity about other people I loved this aspect of research but I also learned a painful lesson that following another’s’ idea of success was leading to exhaustion, confusion and stress.

When I couldn’t be present and joyful with my family, I knew I had to explore another way.  I have found joy in connecting to people through coaching and supporting the self connection I know can bring delight and ease.

I’m a parent of two beautiful, cheeky children. I love spending time in nature, sitting around the table chatting with friends over a cuppa, dancing and being around creative vibrant people.

My training includes Needs-Based Coaching Foundation Training. I am also a Certified Effortless Mindfulness Facilitator (with Loch Kelly from the Effortless Mindfulness Institute). I am in the process of completing the requirements for accreditation with the International Coaching Federation.
